Datasets initiative
The London Board’s dataset initiative is being funded as a part of the Government response to the Priority Review of LSCBs, completed in December 2006. Performance management was identified as an issue, and this project seeks to support London LSCBs to develop the quality of their monitoring and evaluation function. We aim to complete this work by April 2008.
The first phase of the project involved mapping out the kind of information already being collected by London LSCBs, and the consultant employed to carry out this work (Nick Scott) contacted LSCBs throughout September requesting information on the data they are currently collecting.
A steering group has been set up to lead on this project, and meeting notes and supporting information will be regularly updated on these pages. If you would like more information about the project, please contact nick.scott@walthamforest.gov.uk.
