Learning from one another seminar 2
Following last year’s popular series of child sexual abuse seminars, the London Board agreed to host a similar series of sessions throughout 2009, this time focussing on safeguarding children across culture and faith in partnership with the Victoria Climbie Foundation.
The second of these sessions will be held on Tuesday 14th July 2009, 2pm –5pm (central London venue tbc), and is now open for bookings. The seminar will be led by Southall Black Sisters and focuses on what works when engaging with BME communities around safeguarding children abused through domestic violence.

Following last year’s popular series of child sexual abuse seminars, the London Board have agreed to host a similar series of sessions throughout 2009, this time focussing on safeguarding children across culture and faith. These seminars are being held in partnership with the Victoria Climbie Foundation, and will cost £11.50 per delegate (£10 + VAT £1.50).
These seminars (on a variety of different topics) will be held on July 14th 2009 (13.30 - 17.00), Sept 8th 2009 (9.30 - 12.30) and Nov 12th 2009 (9.30 - 12.30). Further details of the topic and presenters will be advertised approximately one month in advance of each session, and bookings will not be open until this point.
