London safeguarding development programme for elected members
The London safeguarding development programme for elected members is intended to offer a practical approach to the context in which the Lead Member is expected to have influence over the broad range of Children’s Services delivered throughout local partnerships. It has been developed and delivered by the London Board in tandem with a group of senior safeguarding professionals from across the capital, and is open to any local authority Lead Members for Children's Services, Leaders or Scrutiny Chairs. It is anticipated that these sessions will be repeated following the elections alongside action learning sets and an annual policy forum.

LSCB Chairs development day
With input from the Lodnon Board's Member Development Programme group and the London LSCB Chairs group, GOL and the London Safeguarding Children Board have designed a development workshop for new, existing and prospective LSCB Chairs.
