Gangs and Serious Youth Violence

Following a number of requests to respond to the safeguarding of children affected by gang activity and/or serious youth violence in London, the London Safeguarding Children Board has agreed to produce a supplementary procedure to assist professionals working with this increasingly common issue. This procedure was launched for consultation at a serious youth violence summit on Friday 21st November 2008, and was available for comments and feedback until Friday 27th Feburary 2009.
